Q. Does UBIOGROW work on flowers, shrubs and trees, or only vegetables?
A. UBIOGROW is effective for all growing plants because it works with the soil. You can use UBIOGROW on your houseplants, flowerbeds, lawns, shrubs and trees as well as your vegetables. It is particularly useful to give transplants and seedlings a healthy start.
Q. Do I need to use any fertilizers in addition to the UBIOGROW?
A. No. UBIOGROW is all you need to help your garden thrive in soil. If you use UBIOGROW as directed, there is little need for additional fertilization. However, a good organic fertilizer with bulky organic matter is beneficial for depleted soils. It is essential to use good cultivation techniques on your soil.
Q. How often do I need to apply UBIOGROW?
A. On new, untreated ground, start with an application of UBIOGROW for Plants at the beginning of your season. Then apply UBIOGROW every week for the first four weeks.. UBIOGROW cannot be over-applied. The effects of the UBIOGROW are cumulative. You will find increased benefits the following season.
Q. How much ground does one gallon of UBIOGROW treat?
A. Each gallon of mixed UBIOGROW will treat 250 to 500 square feet of garden . That is an area 10' x 25 – 50 feet. On lawns, you can use one gallon of mixed UBIOGROW for every 800 square foot of grass (20' x 40').
Q. How long does it take the UBIOGROW to work?
A. UBIOGROW is based on biological and ecological principles. Unlike chemical fertilizers, the results are not apparent immediately. Expect to see results in three to six weeks after application. You will notice stronger growth and extensive root systems in your plants. Results will be even better next season.
Q. How does UBIOGROW increase pest and disease resistance?
A. Stronger, healthier plants are naturally more resistant to disease and stress. They have stronger “immune” systems. It has been found that pests are also attracted to weaker plants that have a lower brix level (measure of sugars in the cells). Application of UBIOGROW increases the brix level of plants. Root Web introduces beneficial fungi that actively fight off other harmful strains of fungi. Furthermore, using UBIOGROW as a foliar spray coats the leaves of plants with microbes that protect the plant.
Q. I received a bottle of UBIOGROW that had some sort of blackish “stuff” in it. What is it and is the product good?
What you are seeing is referred to as “Feed stock Liquor.” UBIOGROW is made by a batch process and the tank is completely drained during bottling. The bottles filled from the bottom area of the tank can contain some of the material you describe. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the product and it should be used according to directions.
